Translated from Farsi

Where in this dark night will you cast your gaze?
The earth is barren of the brave — unless you find the ways.
If in the hush of night you stir and rise anew,
Awaken spring within your heart, let it blossom through.
If you have crossed mirages and glimpsed the ocean’s soul,
Look to the hopeful springs of dawn, and make that vision whole.
The path ascends to Qaf — this light, this purest truth;
It’s better far to turn from crooked ways, and stand in sooth.
The breaking of the heart’s own mirror here is but a wrong,
Instead, let Qaf’s pure peak become your guiding song.
And when you scale that mount, go past its highest crest,
Tear down the veils of falsehood — free your soul to rest.
Though bitter winds may blow through this unending night,
Fill up your chest’s own shelter with the stars’ eternal light.
If lightning strikes the minarets and mosque domes in your sight,
With wings of purpose, raise new spires to endless height.
At dawn, a joyful message shines, “Malek” whispers true:
Count each poor soul in hidden huts — let them count on you.
